The Lousberglauf would be unthinkable without the help of volunteers.
We need help in the following areas:
- Set up at 9am
- Flags hung 1:30 to 4pm
- Coordination in the starting area 5 to 8pm
- Coordination in the finish area 5 to 8pm
- Barrier tape in the starting area, then the finish area 6 to 8pm
- Race safeguarding 6 to 8pm
- Security guards for the safety buffer in the finish area 6 to 8pm
- Fruit/glucose distribution booth 6 to 8pm
- Bib collection 6 to 8pm
- Take down starting around 8:30pm

First and foremost, all volunteers get to experience one of the largest University Sports events in Aachen live and up close – both on stage and behind the scenes.
Additionally, they acquire further teamwork and organizational skills. Each volunteers gets a certificate from the University Sports Center about their contribution. This documents their work and skills within the framework of volunteer work the University Sports Center.
