Active Campus Europe – ACE

What is this?

ACE is a health oriented project of 16 partners from seven countries, financially supported by the Erasmus+ program. Starting with the successful concept of “Pausenexpress” for more movement at the workplace, the idea of this European project is to offer health promotion and prevention for students and employees with the help of sports and movement. This European joint project for health promotion and reservation starts at beginning of 2017 until the end of 2018.

What is the aim?

This project aims at developing innovative offers for health reservation and promotion for universities and their employees and students, as well as testing them and sharing them with others. The motivation is to create healthier working and learning conditions at the universities.

What happens?

The best practice examples of all locations for more physical activity are collected and evaluated. The most successful concepts will be selected and put in a final manual for other interested institutions.

The second important part of the project is to offer interventions at all locations to motivate inactive students to more exercise. Local interventions with the motto “Move more, feel better” are planned in October 2017. After a phase of evaluation and adaption, the next interventions will take place.
