As the largest sports provider in the region the University Sports Center offer over 50 taster events annually, in which anyone can participate free of charge. RWTH FH SPORTS DAY is an outstanding opportunity to try out the more unusual activities like lacrosse, gym wheel gymnastics, and ultimate frisbee in addition to the traditional sports like soccer, tennis, and volleyball.
Taster Courses, Tournaments, and Institute Olympiads
An additional highlight aside from the numerous tournaments are the institute olympiads, where different institutes and institutions of the Aachen universities compete in exciting disciplines. In order to really see the entire spectrum of the University Sports' offers, no lectures are held at RWTH and the FH in the afternoon. In the evening the victorious teams from the institute olympiads and other tournaments are honored on a central stage at Stadion Königshügel.
