The Allwetterplatz Königshügel is a lit multisport court used year round. It is reserved primarily for basketball three days a week. The Allwetterplatz can be used during games or during a booked date, either once for an hour and as part of a subscription. Reservations for a date and time within a subscription or for an individual date are only offered during the summer semester.

Special Participation Requirements

You must purchase the Allwetterplatz card in order to play games on the Allwetterplatz Königshügel.
Further information and the online booking for Allwetterplatz card can be found under games. You must pay a one time fee in order to reserve the space as part of a subscription or for a individual date. Reservations for a date and time within a subscription or for an individual date are only offered during the summer semester.

Members of the University also have the possibility to request a permit to use the Allwetterplatz to hold their own events and tournaments.

Priority Regulation

Since the Allwetterplatz is offered for basketball and football and it is not possible to use it simultaneously for basketball and football, the following regulation applies with regards to priority use:

  • On Mondays, Wednesday, and Saturdays, basketball has priority. This means football can only be played if no one is present, who wants to play basketball.

  • On Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, football has priority. This means basketball can only be played if no one is present, who wants to play football.
