New Sport in HSZ Program - Parkour
Who didn't enjoy jumping over walls, climbing trees, or balancing on the curb as a child? The trending sport parkour makes this possible again for all ages. This sport, which focuses on overcoming all types of obstacles, will be offered at University Sports starting this winter semester.
The objective of the course is to teach participants basic parkour skills. Training takes places primarily indoors, where there are many opportunities to jump over blocks, roll over mats, balance on beams, or even swing on bars. As soon as participants have mastered the basics, they will head outdoors when there is good weather.
Participants will not only learn movement techniques but also safely learn new movements and how to creatively approach hurdles. The most important factor is having fun while moving!
