Target Group and Prerequisites

This offer is targeted towards students and staff looking for ways to relax in order to approach daily stressful situations more calmly.

Content and Objectives

Meditation has a many positive effects on our body, our emotional wellbeing and mental capacity. It has f. e. a calming effect on the metabolic system, blood pressure and breathing, which has scientifically been proven. Tests indicate that the body can regenerate and recuperate during meditation practice. Furthermore meditative practice can improve focus, mindfulness and bodily intuition.

In this course a meditative practice is taught (Pure Meditation Foundation) that is rooted in the teachings of the Kriya Yoga. The techniques include visualisation, the use of inner words and breathing techniques. The different techniques can also be used apart from the meditation setting in challenging everyday situations.

The course takes place as a workshop with two appointments. It is important that you can attend the first meeting, in order to learn the techniques.
