Target Group and Prerequisites

This offer is targeted towards anyone that is interested in the Asian body and health care and that would like to learn and practice Qi-Gong regardless of age or gender.

Because course content is taught successively, regular participation is a basic prerequisite in order to learn and practice in course. Moreover, participants may not join the course after the third class as entry is only possible in the first two classes. After that a delayed entry is not possible.

Content and Objectives

In the traditional Asian medicine and health care, Qi-Gong is portrayed as diverse meditation, concentration and moving exercises. Due to the relaxingly and consistently natural movements and breathing in class, the flow of Qi, which is responsible for well-being and health, can be positively influenced and regulated by Qi-Gong-exercises.

Qi-Gong-exercises on the one hand support and stable body energy as well as strengthen and stretching muscles, and on the other hand they mobilize joints and improve body coordination in order to obtain a healthy physical and medical condition.

This course teaches the “Eight Pieces of Brocade” and aims at presenting the movements and their background. Special attention will be paid to the correct posture and execution of the practices.
