Compensation Rates for Course Instructors

 

Aachen’s University Sports aims to provide all students and employees of Aachen’s universities with a high quality and cost effective sports program. For this, we are looking for motivated and qualified course instructors. In Aachen’s University Sports qualifications determine compensation. The pay structure is as follows:

Sports Groups

Supervisory and generally guiding function without teaching activity. For example running Groups or supervised basketball games; regardless of qualifications and prior experience

6 euros per hour

Learning and performance-oriented instructed courses

Without formal qualifications

and less than 12 months course instructor experience in university sports

9 euros per hour

Without formal qualifications

and more than 12 Months course instructor experience in university sports

10 euros per hour

Trainer

Trainer D or course instructor D

11 euros per hour

Trainer C or course instructor C

12 euros per hour

Trainer B or course instructor B

14 euros per hour

Learning and performance-oriented courses with higher market compensation rates

Course instructors may, in some sports, receive greater compensation due to higher rates of compensation in the wider market

Special Effort

Should a sport incur particular efforts, then they will be compensated separately
