Rules of the Game
As in regular ice hockey, teams play five against five. Only the professor team and female students play six against six. All three squads are made up of nine players. The professor squad can be reinforced with a maximum of four senior engineers or attendings. However, only a maximum of two senior engineers or attendings, who are younger than 50, can play simultaneously on the ice.
Each game consists of two halves with five minutes playing time on aggregrate, which begins with a score of 0:0. The scoring for the Uni Cup follows the same scoring system as in the football national league: three points are awarded for a won game, one point for a tie, and zero points for a lost game.
If there is a tie among the faculties at the end of all the games, there will be a final penalty shot!
