The preparatory dance courses for the Gala Ball offers all guests of the ball the possibility to either freshen up their dance skills or learn basic skills in order to optimally prepare for a swinging evening at Eurogress Aachen.
In the preparatory dance courses for beginners participants will learn and practice the ballroom dances disco fox, ChaCha, and slow waltz based on their niveau. In the preparatory dance course for guests with previous experience participants will practice disco fox, ChaCha, rumba, the jive, slow waltz, Viennese waltz, tango, and the quick step. Registration must be done in pairs. Courses do not build on each other. The course for guests with no previous experience has different content based on participants' abilities.
If you have questions about which course to take, please contact the respective course instructor. If you do not have any previous dance knowledge, we strongly recommended taking the preparatoy dance course for beginners.
Important Information: The Gala Ball preparatory dance courses are only for guests of the Gala Ball. Employees and guests do not need the employee or guest card for the preparatory dance courses. Please bring clean shoes suitable for dancing. We recommend smooth instead of dull soles.
