Soccer Fun for Creative Kickers
At the RWTH Indoor Soccer Cup 20 teams compete against each other at Sporthalle Königshügel. Spots are coveted, so each team must apply for a place in the tournament with a creative and convincing application. The RWTH Indoor Soccer Cup is a mixed tournament. This means that teams must have at least three women among the no more than twelve players. All RWTH institutions and institutes are invited to participate.
More Than a Competititon
Exciting rallies, nerve-wracking tackles, and loudly cheering spectators characterize the RWTH Indoor Soccer Cup. The participating teams give it their all at the Cup in order to take home the coveted challenge cup. However, athletic success is not the only focus. Endurance, team spirit, and fun contribute to the formation of the identity of the different institutes and team building outside of everyday university life.
Win with Team Spirit, Fairness, and Creativity
The RWTH Indoor Soccer Cup is primarily about team spirit, fairness, and creativity. As a result, the "master of hearts" is also honored aside from the tournament winner. This "master of hearts" is the team with the most creative application and best fans. The event is organized by the RWTH Aachen University Sports Center and the RWTH women's soccer team, which traditionally provides refreshments during the event.

In the case of withdrawal from the RWTH INDOOR FOOTBALL CUP within 14 days of the day of the event, a cancellation fee of 50 percent of the entry fee will be charged, if the reserved space cannot be given to another team. Cancellations or withdrawals must in any case be carried out in written form . For each cancellation, a processing fee of 5 percent of the course fee, but at least 5 euros, will be charged. The processing fee will be added to the cancellation fee. In case of cancellation on the day of the event or in default of appearance, participants and teams are not entitled to refund.

Unlike the other University Sports offers, there is no additional insurance cover when participating in this event. For this reason, we strongly recommend that participants acquire their own insurance cover.
Photographs and Film Recordings
The RWTH Aachen University Sports Center reserves the right to take photographs and make film recordings during the event for its own publicity and information purposes. By signing up for or purchasing admission to the event, participants agree to this use. Due to administrative reasons, those who object to this must raise their objection with the University Sports Center by email within one week of the end of the event.
