Lifting of the Access Ban on University Sports Property: Finnbahn and running track reopen on June 15, 2020Copyright: M2Brothers
We are pleased to announce the taking of a further step towards the normalization of sports operations. After having been able to again start offering an indoor and outdoor sports program, we will be lifting the access ban to the outdoor sports facilities on June 15, 2020. The Finnbahn and running track will again be open for limited use. The minimum distancing rules of the Corona protection ordinance remain in force.
We are reliant on your support in complying with the special rules. Should these not be followed, we will be forced to reverse certain measures or immediately resuspend sports operations. Non-compliance with the rules may result in sanctions and fines.
- The outdoor fitness facility, changing rooms and sanitary facilities remain closed.
- The water sports facility Wildenhof is only open for sports operations in the context of the interim program.
- The Service Point of the HSZ can only be reached by telephone, email or by appointment.
These measures follow the recommendations of the Federal Ministry of Health, the Robert-Koch-Institute, the stipulations of the Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia and crisis unit of the Städteregion Aachen and are coordinated with RWTH Aachen University administration.
Further up-to-date information on the approach of university administration can be found on the website of the university.
