Content and Objectives
Mindfulness is a calm awareness, where one effortlessly concentrates on the present. All of the senses are open. You perceive everything happening in the moment, including thoughts and sensations. Because you always need time to raise your consciousness of that which you are currently experiencing, mindfulness exercises are also consciousness exercises. Experiencing the here and now is also very relaxing, therapeutic, and promotes your concentration. The course contains a combination of meditation, visualization, relaxed breathing, and self reflection. The objective of the course is to train our mindfulness in three areas of our life: mindfulness of ourselves, other people, and certain relationships and events.
