Kayaking Semester Card
Dates, Prices and Booking
Target Group and Prerequisites
All students and University staff can acquire a University kayaking permit to use the kayak's groups kayaks and canoes at Rursee during the summer. Basic kayaking techniques are taught in courses. Minors must submit a written consent form from their guardian before participating in the University Sports Center's offer.
You can renew your kayaking permit through the HSZ online portal starting at the beginning of April. You can then have the kayaking permit stamped in the HSZ office or the Wildenhof caretaker. Rentals are possible, as long as weather permits, starting at the beginning of April as well. In case of bad weather, a new date will be announced on posting. You must adhere to the rental conditions. Failure to do do so will result in the confiscation of your University kayaking permit. Inspections are regularly made.
There is a 50 percent reduction to the price of the kayaking card seven weeks before the new sports program begins.
There is a kayaking meeting the first Wednesday of every month at 6pm in Meisenfrei. Here last-minute tours for almost all disciplines under kayaking are organized and information, experience, and photos are shared. Members of the kayaking group also plan privately organized tours aside from the University Sports' official events. Last-minute trips are organized, in which beginners and individuals without their own equipment can participate.
