Fascial and Movement TrainingCopyright: U.A.AC
Fascial training is a specific training for stimulating the characteristics of the muscular connective tissue, to prevent tenseness and to reduce pain. It will be trained with the so called "Blackroll" in particular.

Target group and Prerequisites
The course Fascial Training is for everyone, athlete or non-athlete of every age, who wants to get to know and learn to gauge their body properly.
The course Movement and Mobility has the same goals but is a stronger challenge for body and mind, so that previous experience is recommended.
Fascial Training should be only performed with caution and upon consultation of a doctor in the following cases: Osteoporosis, severe discopathy, severe inflammations, thrombosis, hypertension, soft-tissue rheumatism, fibromyalgia and cancer/metastasis.
Content and Objectives
Joint capsules, Aponeurosis, intermuscular septums, ligaments, tendons and “the actual fasciae”, in the form of firm flat layers of connective tissue all belong to the collagenous connective tissue and as such also to the all-encompassing term fascia. Just like our muscles they require different and regular stimulation through training. Participants of the course will be shown how, through regular and targeted everyday training, to improve their movability and quality of movement and reduce the tensions and pain caused, for example, by constant sitting. The facial training is inspired by the concept of Painfree Fascia®, but is supplemented, as required, by elements of other training concepts from the area of Mobility.
Fasciae (conjunctive tissue) get through our whole body and surround our organs. As well as our muscles they need different and regular training stimulus. With a specific fascial training mobility as movement quality can be increased and tensions and pain, for example because of long sitting times, can be reduced. Beside self-perception coordinative skills are trained. The exercises are especially realized with a fascia roll (Blackroll). The training stands for a better life awareness by movement quality without pain. It is oriented towards the concept Painfree Fascia®, but it is also complemented with elements from other training concepts from the area of Mobility.
Movement and Mobility
The course Movement and Mobility is mainly about improving flexibility and movement variety. By using the Ido Portal Method and Mobility exercises by Dr. Kelly Starrett the ability of complex movements will be trained and recovered. Staying in deep squats or learning complex Locomotion-Drills are some examples.
The exciting thing about the course, however, is getting to know exercises and movements that aren’t workaday, but will be by the end of the course at the latest. Besides enjoyment in movement, the course provides the necessary tools to stay pain-free, effective and healthy in the long term.
To participate you must bring a separate, clean pair of gym shoes. Comfortable athletic clothing is sufficient.
