Ballroom Dance Level 3
Target Group and Requirements
The Level 3 courses are targeted at participants who have completed levels 1 and 2 or otherwise learned their contents.
For lateral entry into the level 3 courses, knowledge of the first advanced figures in the dances slow waltz, tango, quickstep, cha-cha-cha, rumba, jive and disco fox is required - for example, the spin turn in the slow waltz and fan and alemana in rumba and cha-cha-cha. Additionally, participants should be familiar with the natural turn in the Viennese waltz and simple figures in samba. In the case of uncertainty over the suitable lateral level of entry, the course instructors can be contacted during open training.
