Contents and Goals

The aim of the course is to teach the necessary skills to climb single pitches in very well secured sport climbing areas (climbing gardens, plaisir areas). The course can also be useful as a preparation for the Whitsunday trip or as a refresher.

Particularities:

We plan to hold the course at the Kelmis climbing garden. For this, the weather must be good and the rocks must be dry. At this time of year, the weather is difficult to plan. Therefore, the course period will extend over a period of 8 weeks. Within these 8 weeks we will meet on 5 Tuesdays. Which Tuesdays these will be depends on the weather and must be decided on short notice. We may also have to hold part of the course indoors.

Please sign up only if you have potential time on all Tuesdays. Since the course is very extensive and we need a lot of time to practice, it is important that you attend every date. Please plan your journey so that you are on time at the climbing crag Kelmis.

The course fee is 60€. (Under certain circumstances the entrance fee for the climbing hall Tivoli Sports will be added: 8€ per date).
