Road Cycling Course Level 2
Target Group and Requirements
The course is aimed at advanced beginners who have completed the Level 1 course or have mastered the essential content. Participants should be familiar with riding in a group and be able to ride up to 50 kilometers at an average of 25 km/h. Carrying a heart rate sensor with chest strap is not a mandatory requirement but recommended.
Contents and Goals
In addition to further improving technical and conditioning skills, the course offers learning and experiencing different facets of cycling. The focus of the course is on instructions for cycling-specific training, but also takes into account framework areas such as nutrition, core training, sports psychology and mental training. Practical examples can also be used to learn the basics of tour planning and the various disciplines of road cycling such as time trials, sprints and more. A change to another group is possible depending on the training level and course capacities.
