Target Group and Requirements

This offer is targeted towards anyone interested in taking a course to obtain the Sportbootführerschein See or SBF See license, which is for motorboats, and the Sportküstenschifferschein or SKS, the sport-coastal skipper license. In order to acquire an official SBF license, you must meet the medical fitness standards. This concerns individuals with dyschromatopsia .

Content and Objectives

This course teaches the exam material through theoretical lessons for the Sportbootführerschein See and Sportküstenschifferschein.

Participants will be taught the necessary knowledge in seamanship, navigation, maritime law and meteorology, as well as solving practice questions in preparation for the exam.

The course is completed with the respective official exam.
SBF-See: Theory & practical exam.
SKS: Theory exam with navigation/map questions

SKS: Practical training and exam are not part of this course. Information about a practical training cruise with concluding practical exam will be shared during the course.

The exam dates are set after consultation with the course participants. The course material will be handed out at the beginning of the course.
