Active Course for Seniors
Target Group and Requirements
This class is targeted towards middle aged and older adults, who are interested in starting to work out or are already active. if you have a chronic disease, please contact the University Sports Center before registering for the course.
Content and Goals
Through targeted training it is possible to see performance improvements in strength, endurance, coordination, and mobility, even in old age. Targeted gymnastics exercises can prevent or reduce complaints and improve overall performance ability. The content of this course includes a short warm up phase and then target focus on mobility and strength and motor function. The most important component is enjoying moving your body. Participants are offered a diverse program with valuable tips and exercises for home, recreation, and vacation.
