Pilates is a gentle and effective workout for body and mind developed by Joseph H. Pilates. Through conscious, concentrated breathing the exercises are conducted slowly and precisely. Individual muscle groups are systematically stretched and strengthened. Movements are fluid and smooth. The goal is to create a stronger core or so called power house, thus strengthening the deep muscles located near the spine.

Rules of Conduct Corona Interim Program

Compliance with the Corona Rules of Conduct is compulsory for all participants of the interim program.

Target Group and Requirements

The Pilates course is aimed at everyone who wants to gather their first experiences with Pilates. Those already experienced with Pilates will also get their money’s worth. One’s personal fitness level and prior sporting experience are unimportant. This training is also suitable for people with lightly limited mobility.

Content and Goals

The fundamentals of Pilates will be taught. Special exercises for the strengthening and stretching of muscles will be carried out and the general fitness improved.

Equipment

Due to the current circumstances the HSZ is unable to provide any equipment. You must bring your own mat.
