RWTH FH Sports Day Enthralls with Numerous Trial Offers, Tournaments, and the Institute Olympiad

In the vast array of university sports offerings, finding the right sport can often be challenging. The Sports Day offers the perfect opportunity to get a first look at the program of the largest sports provider in the region and try out different sports. A total of 15 activity areas provided the opportunity to try out a wide variety of university sports throughout the afternoon.

Team spirit is required at the Institute Olympics. Teams made up of a colorful mix of professors, lecturers, students and other employees from the individual institutes of the two universities compete against each other in various sports and games challenges. The tournaments are also a central part of the Sports Day. After an exciting tournament, the winners were able to celebrate in style at the subsequent awards ceremony. The results of the Institute Olympics and the tournaments can be viewed on the HSZ website.

In addition to the volunteers, external support is crucial to organize a large event like the Sports Day. This year, the University Sports Center can once again rely on Sparkasse Aachen as a long-standing partner. Additionally, Techniker Krankenkasse was a new cooperation partner for this year's Sports Day.
