Last Chance! The Deadline for the RWTH Hallenfußball Cup 2019 has been Extended!

Good news for spontaneous football fans: The deadline for the RWTH Hallenfußball Cup has been extended to February 2! Those who would still like to take part in the popular tournament should hurry up, as the HSZ has already received a lot of creative applications. This year, the RWTH Hallenfußball Cup will take place on Saturday, March 23 from 10am. Participation costs are 84 euros per team.

When the floor of the Königshügel Sports Hall shakes and you can hear the chants of the fans, it can only mean one thing: the Hallenfußball Cup is back. Here, 20 teams give their all, to take home the coveted trophy – all the while supported by roaring fans. As places in the tournament are hotly contested, each prospective team will have to introduce itself with a creative application. This year’s motto is: “HFC – a winter fairytale”. Applications can be handed in at the University Sports Center until Monday, February 11.

The RWTH Hallenfußball Cup is a mixed tournament, meaning that a least three of the maximum of the twelve team members must be women. Teams can include all members of RWTH, regardless of institute or institution.
