Target Group and Requirements
This offer is aimed at students and staff looking to find themselves and reach a balance in body, soul and spirit.
Content and Objectives
The focus is on silent meditation. Practicing stillness in concentration and attention enables the perception of inner motives and processes of our thinking and acting, and an insight into what drives or blocks me. This can serve as motivation and starting point to question one's own views, imprints and habits, to expand positive ones and to discard negative ones. Furthermore, the practice of meditation can have a positive effect on the ability to concentrate and offer opportunities to remain calm in the stress of everyday life and to avoid rash decisions.
The offerings vary in styles such as Zen and Kriya. In addition, small examples are given that provide insight into the origins and leitmotifs of meditation and show approaches how calmness can find space in daily life.
Furthermore, various aids to meditation practice are presented in the form of accompanying/supporting exercises, for example eutony (well-being tension), perception and mindfulness as well as breathing exercises.
