Full of Energy into the Summer - 7th RWTH Campus Run 2023 Starts at Campus Melaten
It's that time again on May 5th: The RWTH Aachen University Sports Center invites you to the 7th RWTH Campus Run on the Melaten Campus. Running enthusiasts from Aachen and the region will start the summer semester on a sporty note with the FunRun, FitnessRun and relay race. There is also a lot to discover off the course.
Start of the summer semester
On May 5th, the University Sports Center will kick off the action-packed summer semester with the RWTH Campus Run. The RWTH Campus Run stands for fun in movement as well as communication with other athletes. Students and employees of the Aachen universities as well as citizens of the city of Aachen meet at this event. There they can exchange ideas with other running enthusiasts.
FunRun, Relay and FitnessRun
At the event, participants can choose from three different runs: In the FunRun, with a length of 4.6 kilometers, fun comes first. The flat course appeals primarily to amateur runners. The 9-kilometer FitnessRun is also suitable for more experienced participants. The team concept is in the foreground in the relay race, where the total distance of 9.2 kilometers is divided into four equal sections among the team members.
Refreshments along the route
During the run, the runners will be supplied with water and fruit by the University Sports Center. As usual, a colorful supporting program will provide entertainment next to the running course.
Registration on the website
The participation fee for the campus run is 13 euros for students and staff for the FunRun and FitnessRun. For the relay race, they pay 17 euros per team. Guests pay 17 euros for the FunRun and FitnessRun and 21 euros per team for the relay race. Registration for the campus run is already underway and is open until May 3rd on the University Sports Center's website.
