At the EUSA Combat in July, athletes from more than 30 European countries competed against each other. The four sport categories were judo, taekwondo, kickboxing and karate. With over 1,320 participants, the event began on July 20 with an opening ceremony. The competitions in the different categories took place from July 21 to 23. Syifa Nurzaman of the FH Aachen was one of the participants. She competed in two competitions. First she showed her skills in the discipline Poomsae Traditional. Poomsae is a form run, which is particularly important in the sport Taekwondo. Unfortunately, she was eliminated after the second round. Therefore, the next discipline Poomsae Freestyle was even more gratifying for her. She successfully fought her way through and in the end took third place together with an athlete from Gazi. This means bronze for Syifa Nurzaman! Syifa Nurzaman can be proud of this achievement. The RWTH Aachen University Sports Center congratulates on this success!
