Floorball

Floorball is a type of floor hockey developed in the 1970s in Sweden, Finland, and Switzerland, which combines elements from field and ice hockey. It is suitable for both men and women. It's less about strength or body size than it is about mobility, speed, and technique. In contrast to field hockey, extremely lightweight plastic balls and sticks are used. This results in a very fast team sport, played here without a goalkeeper and large equipment and in a mixed team. Easy to learn techniques and focus on the team sport make floorball, also known as unihockey, innebandy, and salibandy, perfect for beginners.
