The routes are scenic and there is very little traffic. As is well known, summer athletes are made in winter. In the winter semester, a cross-level course is offered to bridge the long winter break. The practical training is completed as a ride at a moderate pace on paved roads with little traffic.
A functional road bike, spare tube, bicycle pump and repair kit as well as clothing suitable for the weather are required. A narrow lighting for nightfall is recommended as well as money for emergencies and a snack bar for the small refreshment in between.
