Self Defense for Women
The focus of the self defense training is on correct self-protection, striking and loosening techniques, as well as freeing oneself from holds while standing and on the floor. In this course participants learn fundamental techniques for assertiveness and self defense.

Target Group and Requirements
This course is intended for women who want to learn the fundamental techniques of self-assertion and defense. Previous experience is not required. There are no special requirements.
Because the individual course sessions build on each other, joining after the third session is only sensible in exceptional cases.
Content and Objectives
As part of self-assertion training, participants will learn voice training, how to improve body language and presence, as well as be presented with statistics and studies, in order to better gauge critical situations. The focus of the self-defense training is on correct self-protection, striking and grip loosening techniques, and freeing oneself from holds from a standing and laying position. During the course participants are to internalize simple, universally applicable defense techniques and concepts in order to successful apply them in realistic exercises.
Material
Required for participation is a separately brought, clean pair of the indoor shoes. Comfortable and tear-proof everyday clothing is sufficient.
