With over 1,600 square meters and six beach volleyball courts the University's own beach volleyball facility at Königshügel is the largest facility in Aachen and offers fantastic opportunities to play, which are met with great popularity. During the summer semester, individuals can book the beach volleyball card and use the courts seven days a week – including on public holidays – to play self-organized games. If they do not have the beach volleyball card, a beach court can be booked for individual date or can be subscribed. The beach facility is in limited operation during the winter semester. In addition to the games, we offer beach volleyball courses with supervised training and learning content.

You may only use the nets provided by the University Sports Center. You can get the nets against a deposit from the sports supervisor or starting from 2:30pm from the service personnel in the hut. Since the distance between the posts on every court differs by a few centimeters, make sure that you hang the net that matches the posts. Tell the service personnel which court you want to play on: the nets are numbered just like the courts.
If you need help setting up the net, please ask our personnel in the hut. We are happy to help you.
Individuals playing a game can borrow balls against a deposit from the sports supervisor or the service personnel at the hut near the facility.
