Sports Hall Eckertweg
The sports hall at Eckertweg is the University Sport Center's newest sports hall. It was opened in October 2013. The sport hall measures 22 x 44 meters and is a so-called double room as partitions can be drawn to separate it into three sites.

Access
Access to the Eckertweg sports hall is via a revolving door, which can only be passed by one person only after prior course registration and with a valid, printed registration confirmation. Access is only possible 30 minutes before the start of the course.
Please note that the passage is valid only once and the access authorization expires when leaving the sports facility. Another access to the sports hall on the same day is only possible if you book another course.
If you have a RWTH BlueCard or a FH card registered at the Service Point of the HSZ, you do not need a printed confirmation of registration. By means of the registered barcode of the cards, our system immediately recognizes whether there is a valid booking in your name. Attention: If your card has been exchanged, a new registration at the HSZ is required.
Changing Rooms and Showers
The changing rooms and showers are open during sport operations. The time spent in the changing rooms is to be reduced to a minimum. A face mask is highly recomended to be worn when changing.
You must bring your own lock if you wish to use a locker.
Register your RWTH BlueCard or FH Card
If you have a RWTH BlueCard or FH card that is registered in the HSZ Service Point, you do not need a printed registration confirmation. Using the card's registered barcode, our system immediately recognizes whether you have a valid booking in your name. Please note: If you have exchanged your card, you must re-register it with the HSZ.
