Fitness with Music, known colloquially as Kontakthüpfen among students in Aachen, is endurance and strength training in a large group in the gym with motivating music. The University Sports Center offers at least one class per day.

Target Group and Prerequisites
This offer is targeted towards women and men of all ages and levels of fitness, with or without prior fitness experience.
Content and Objectives
Every class begins with a short warm up. The main component is broken down into endurance and strength training components. The class ends with a cool down and stretching exercises. Different variations of each exercise and movement are offered so that the training can be individually adapted to any fitness level. This makes Fitness with Music an ideal training for all fitness levels. Additionally, participants have fun working out in a large group together. The primary objectives are: endurance and muscle endurance, fat burning, strengthening the cardiovascular system, improving rhythmic ability, fun moving in a large group, and of course meeting others.
To participate, a clean pair of gym shoes is required. Please also bring an at least 70 by 140cm, clean, dry hand towel and something to drink.
Special Participation Requirements
Participation in the offer during Prime Time runs over the All-in-One card.
The card is bookable for both course periods of the University Sports Center.
All other times can be booked with the free card. Details about which dates and times are in Prime Time can be found in the overview.
Please note, that limits on capacity in the sports hall must still be observed. For this reason, access to particularly popular dates cannot be guaranteed, even with the card.
