adh Perspective Meeting in Aachen: Registrations Still Possible Until April 14!

From May 17 to May 19, 2022, the adh Perspective Meeting will take place in Aachen on the topic of "Importance and Opportunities of Internationalization in University Sports". The University Sports Center (HSZ) of the RWTH Aachen University invites all members of the adh and interested students to a colorful program consisting of lectures, seminars, and activities. The special highlight is a joint day trip to Brussels to the European Parliament!

 

As the largest adh educational event, the Perspective Meeting offers participants the opportunity to discuss and reflect in interesting seminars and lectures on the topic of "Importance and Opportunities of Internationalization in University Sports". These will be held and supported by experts from the fields of science, politics, and sports. Together, questions about various challenges and future topics of university sports will be discussed and common goals will be developed. One important topic is the FISU World University Games, formerly known as the Universiade. This event will take place again in Germany in 2025 after more than 30 years with the Rhine-Ruhr concept and several thousand student athletes from different sports will compete against each other.

An exciting supporting program has been organized for the adh Perspective Meeting. During a guided tour through the imperial city, the participants can explore Aachen more easily. On the second day, those interested will travel to Brussels. There will be a visit to the NRW State Representation, a guided tour through the EU Parliament, and several lectures. Speakers will include among others Andreas Bold (EOC EU Office), Tomasz Frankowski (Member of the European Parliament), and Jörg Singelnstein (Press and Sports Policy of State Representation NRW in Brussels). During an entertaining evening program with music and show elements, the participants can round off the eventful day. The last day will be concluded with exciting seminars on various topics in the Ballroom in Aachen.
