Good vibes and a competitive atmosphere are expected at the first running event of the RWTH Aachen University Sports Center (HSZ) in two years. There will also be a colorful supporting program for guests and the RWTH Kids Campuslauf.

First Event in Person in 2 Years

On April 29, the RWTH Aachen University Sports Center (HSZ) will kick off the action-packed summer semester with the RWTH Campuslauf. At the first running event in person in two years, participants can discover the Campus Melaten in a new way.

The Runs

At the FunRun with a distance of 4.6 kilometers, fun is the top priority. The runners in the 9-kilometer FitnessRun need more stamina. The team concept is in the foreground in the relay run, where the total distance of 9.2 kilometers is divided into four equal sections among the team members.

Colorful Supporting Program

During the run, the runners will be provided with water and fruits by the HSZ. There is also a lot on offer apart from the running track: The health partner Techniker Krankenkasse offers sports medical advice and support. There will be food and drink stands for spectators. They can also enjoy the varied entertainment program.

Children's Program Bring Your Kids!

Under the motto "Bring Your Kids!" children are invited to the Campuslauf. For this purpose, the Montessori kindergarten "Vincerola" will open its doors. There, a colorful children's program will be offered with the RWTH Kids Campuslauf. A short run over the original track and through the main finish is planned for the little athletes. This will be followed by a certificate award ceremony and there will be winner photos for the little ones to take home directly. The children's program starts at 3pm. The RWTH Kids Campuslauf will start at 4:15 pm. The children's program is free of charge and does not require a registration.
