Underwater Rugby - Back in the Program After Years
Underwater rugby is finally back in the program of the University Sports Center (HSZ). After a break of several years, the diverse water sport is now back as a course.
Underwater rugby is played in teams of six people who try to get a ball into the goal of the opposing team. The peculiarity: the goal is located at the bottom of a swimming pool. So the players move around diving with fins, masks, and snorkel to reach their goal and win the game.
Interested players do not need any previous experience in underwater rugby to take the HSZ course, but they must be able to swim sufficiently well. The course will take place in the Schwimmhalle Ost. There, participants will first learn swimming and diving techniques and then various playing positions and tactics.
More information and registration are available on the sport page Underwater Rugby.
