Second Place for Rowing Team From Aachen at German University Rowing Championship 2022

On July 2 and 3, the German University Rowing Championship (DHM) 2022 took place in Münster. University rowing teams from all over Germany competed on the Aasee.

 

The team from Aachen traditionally started with the eight. The Aachen delegation consisted of Anna Lülfing, Ben Goslich, Johannes Hackenbroch, Tim Bauerle, Lars Höpken, Maximilian Rawie, Sahib Kahlon, Jurek Meister, and Lauritz Kamphaus.

In the 1,000-meter race, they managed to beat defending champion Karlsruhe and finish a close second behind the team from Cologne.

Training for the next big competition is already underway: from September 6 to 9, the European University Rowing Championships will take place in Istanbul - the rowing team from Aachen will of course be there!
