The Pausenexpress is a 15-minute movement session consisting of mobilization, strengthening, and relaxation exercises for staff at RWTH and FH directly at the workplace.

The foundation for the Pausenexpress was laid by the University of Potsdam as part of a needs analysis for mobile training at the workplace. The first practical implementation started in the summer semester of 2009. In 2010, the program was further developed by the universities of Berlin, Paderborn, Wuppertal, and RWTH as part of a BGM project in collaboration with adh and adapted to specific locations.

Since 2010, the popularity and recognition of the Pausenexpress have steadily grown. Under normal circumstances, 150 courses with over 850 participants are conducted weekly by qualified instructors from HSZ.

Currently, we are planning to offer the Pausenexpress again in person on-site. If this is not possible due to internal regulations or similar reasons, online courses via ZOOM can be offered if needed.

We are always looking for instructors and also offer training for that. If you are interested in getting your fellow students or staff moving for good pay, then contact the Pausenexpress Team!
