Due to the NRW Corona Protection Ordinance, which has banned major events until August 31, 2020, the summer events of the RWTH Aachen University Sports Center (HSZ) have been cancelled. Affected by this are the RWTH FH Sports Day powered by Sparkasse Aachen and the Lousberglauf powered by STAWAG.
In order to hinder the spread of the Corona virus and guarantee the health of the students and staff of RWTH Aachen University, the summer events of the HSZ will not take place.
Although the popular events of the summer semester have been cancelled, nobody has to do without sport. From May 18, 2020 the HSZ is offering an Interim Program, which complies with the strict hygiene requirements. The university administration has decided on a cautious resumption of operations in order to comply with the special requirements. The access-ban to the sports facilities of the HSZ remains in force.
Additionally, the “HSZ Digital Workouts” continue to be made available on weekdays on the platforms of Instagram and Youtube, so that everyone can join in and train from home.
