The German University Championships (DHM) in snowboarding and freeskiing took place from 16 to 23 March. Around 60 student snow sports enthusiasts spent a week in the Les Deux Alpes ski resort to take part in the DHM Snowboard and Freeski 2024. A total of 15 snowboarding and skiing enthusiasts traveled from Aachen. The DHM Snowboard and Freeski is one of over 50 German university championships organized by the adh each year. The HSZ organizes a DHM for the adh every year.

Things really got underway on Wednesday: first up were the snowboard and ski cross competitions. The athletes try to ski a course with steep bends, bumps and small jumps as quickly as possible. At the same time, they also have to pay attention to the other participants, as four people have to ski the course at the same time. The slopestyle discipline continued on Thursday. Here, the participants show off their skills in the fun park.

The realization of the DHM was made possible by the motivated commitment of the sports department of Aachen's universities and the SNOW Sport Team of Aachen University Sports. They supported the HSZ in the organization and implementation of the DHM.
