NRW Uni Running Cup enters the second round - Team Aachen catches up!

The NRW Uni-Laufcup takes place annually as a separate competition at the major running events of the universities of Cologne, Münster, Dortmund and Aachen. In the race series, students from all over NRW compete to win for their university.

There were four teams from Aachen at the start of the UniLauf Köln, all of whom made it into the top 10: Team RWTH Aachen 1 came in 2nd place, RWTH Aachen 2 made it to 5th place, Team RWTH Aachen 3 came in 8th place and Team RWTH 4 came in 10th place. The first place went to UniLaufCup Team Cologne 1 and third place to UniLaufCup Team Cologne 2.

With this impressive performance, the Aachen runners managed to catch up in the overall rankings: There they now hold second place with 32 points behind Cologne with 40 points. Bonn currently holds third place in the overall standings with 30 points.

The final result of the NRW Uni Run Cup is therefore still completely open and the competition remains very exciting. The next stage will take place on June the 26th as part of the Leonardo Campus Run Münster.
