The 35th Lousberglauf will take place on July 3! The starting shot can be eagerly awaited when 2,000 runners take on the 5,555 meter challenge. The route signs were put up today and the final spurt of running training has begun.

The Lousberglauf is not just for students and employees of Aachen's universities. This cult event also creates an identity for the entire city of Aachen. In addition, the residents of the Rütscher Straße residential towers play a particularly important role in organizing the event. Without this student commitment, an event like this would hardly be possible.

As the sponsor of the halls of residence, the Studierendenwerk works closely with the towers. The Studierendenwerk will also support the Lousberglauf event by providing fruit slices for the runners, catering for the helpers and providing rooms. During the week of the Lousberglauf, the Studierendenwerk will also be offering special meals for the event on three days under the motto "Over the mountain with power".

Above all, the support of the sponsor, STAWAG, is particularly important. STAWAG has been a partner of the HSZ for many years and supports other events in addition to the Lousberglauf.

The final preparations for the Lousberglauf will continue over the next few weeks. Until then, the route with the signage can be used for training.

Further information about the event can be found on the HSZ Website.
