A total of ten teams took part in the championship, including a historic debut: Aachen entered three teams. The two favorites of the tournament already emerged on Saturday: defending champions Team Aachen 1 and the team from SpoHo Cologne. Both teams advanced to the semi-finals. The Aachen 2 team and the Alumni team also put in great performances. It was particularly impressive that Aachen 2 had to do without a player due to illness. For some members of the alumni team, it was also their first tournament.
The first game on Sunday was a regional derby: Aachen 2 against Aachen Alumni. Both teams fought well, with Aachen 2 coming out on top and finishing in 3rd place in the preliminary round. As the tournament progressed, Aachen 2 won the match for 5th place. In the final, Team Aachen
team Aachen 1 and the host team Spoho Köln. The game ended 3:6 for Cologne and Aachen thus achieved a respectable second place.
