Relocation and closing times
The RWTH GYM will have to close temporarily from June 23 to 29, 2025 for the move to the interim building. During this time, all the equipment will be dismantled, transported and refitted in the interim building. Regular operations will then resume from June 30 in the interim building on the Königshügel.
Construction phase until the end of August
Construction work in the actual GYM will begin on June 30. During a construction phase lasting around eight weeks, the floor will be renewed so that the GYM can shine in new splendor in time for the start of the semester. The construction work is scheduled to be completed on August 25.
Back in the GYM at the beginning of September
Once the new floor has been successfully completed, the GYM will move back into the main building in the week from September 1 to 5, 2025. The GYM will also remain closed during this week. Once the move has been completed, regular operations will resume in the RWTH GYM.
