To kick off the winter sports season in style, the HSZ is once again hosting the Snow Event on October 13. We’ll be heading to SnowWorld Landgraaf together. Registration opens on September 28 viathe website.

Skiers and snowboarders can look forward to four hours on the slopes at the indoor ski center in Landgraaf, just across the border in the Netherlands. The necessary equipment can be rented at the indoor ski center. To facilitate sustainable travel, the HSZ is offering a shared shuttle bus to the ski center. For the trip there, the buses will be ready at Bendplatz between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The return trip on the shuttle buses will take place between 10:30 p.m. and midnight. You also have the option of making your own way to SnowWorld Landgraaf.

Courses and Workshops

At the snow event, instructors trained by the HSZ lead all ski and snowboard courses. Beginner courses are offered from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.; due to limited space, advance registration is required. There are also workshops for advanced winter sports enthusiasts, for example on technique, slalom, or in the fun park. No separate course registration is required for these.
