CHU Aachen: Exciting Entertainment in a Friendly Atmosphere

From November 8 to 10, the CHU again took place in Aachen. Unique about the tournaments at the CHU are the knock-out system and the use of unfamiliar horses. The CHU was organized by the hosting Riding Group Aachen.

Throughout the weekend, tournaments took place in the categories of dressage and jumping. The dressage tournament was won by Anja Simonsmeier from Bonn, while Phillip Visser from Göttingen took first place in jumping. In the combined team rating, the riders from Bielefeld came out ahead.

The supporting program of the CHU didn’t disappoint either. On Saturday night, the Riders’ Night took place in the G-Bar of the Student Village. The three contestants of the riding groups never come alone. They are always accompanied by a team to support and cheer them on. At the CHU, fun and teamwork are just as important as the sporting performances of the riders.
