Fun Mood and Great Beats at the ACE Kick-Off Event

The Lunch-Beat-Break from the project Active Campus Europe (ACE) took place as part of the European Week of Sport and was able to excite many students and employees at RWTH. The Lunch-Beat-Break was a free offer to bring a little more movement into the lunch break.

The Lunch-Beat-Break was blessed by brilliant sunshine and international flair, luring around 80 students and employees of RWTH Aachen University into the Couvenhalle. For 90 minutes a DJ rocked the house with his beats, motivating those in attendance to get dancing. There were no special requirements in terms of choreography or otherwise.

The event, which took place in September 2017, was part of the first ten-week practical phase of project ACE, which aims to bring more movement into the lives of students. The practical phase was completed successfully in December of last year. The second practical phase is set to begin in April.
Again, the focus will be on an individual program for students, who haven’t been particularly active for a while and want to get moving again.

Those who want to take part can sign for only 20 euros and take part in the training in small groups with individual support.
