Hochschulsportshow 2019 – a Thrilling Evening with Exceptional Show Acts

Preparations for this year’s University Sports Show on February 5 are already in full swing. This year, sports groups from University Sports will again thrill the crowd with spectacular show performances. Different performance groups will present a wide variety of choreographies – from dance over acrobatics to martial arts.

In one week, the University Sports Show will be back. Spectators can look forward to an unforgettable evening with spectacular choreographies and stunning show acts. As well as oriental dance and artistic acrobatics, the sports groups also perform exciting feats of martial arts in, for example, Savate. The cheerleaders of the Aachen Steelers will also be there to perform breathtaking acrobatic numbers and like every year, the FH Aachen big band “Full House” will provide suitable musical accompaniment for the show.

One of the highlights takes place before the show: at 6:30pm the “Competitive Sports Prize of Aachen University Sports powered by STAWAG” for outstanding sporting achievement in university sports will be awarded. By awarding the prize, STAWAG seeks to honor athletes, who have excelled against strong competition in their sports.

For over 17 years, Sparkasse Aachen has been supporting university sports and an important part of this support is the yearly awarding of the “Volunteering Prize of Sparkasse Aachen” for volunteering engagement in university sports.

For those for whom the breathtaking show alone isn’t exciting enough, an after-show party will take place in the Apollo, where you can celebrate some more.
