Wheelchair Handball - Inclusive Sports Class of the HSZ Starts in the Summer Semester

A very special cooperation of the University Sports Center starts in the summer semester. Together with the Aachen sports club ASV Schwarz-Rot, a taster course in the sport of wheelchair handball will be offered. The participants will have the opportunity to take part in the training of the ASV wheelchair handball team.

In wheelchair handball, people with and without physical impairments play together. All players sit in a wheelchair and use it as sporting equipment. Apart from that, the regular handball rules apply.

Sports wheelchairs are available for the training. This inclusive course is aimed at all people who would like to get to know the wheelchair as a piece of sports equipment, regardless of whether or not they use a wheelchair in everyday life. The taster course starts on April 25, 2022. Registration is possible from March 29, 2022.
