Kick off the new semester on skis and snowboards! The Snow Event on October 13

Winter sports here in Aachen: The RWTH University Sports Center (HSZ) is kicking off the winter semester with the Snow Event. On October 13, both beginners and experienced winter sports enthusiasts will hit the slopes at SnowWorld Landgraaf. There, they can participate together in various courses and workshops and kick off the first unforgettable runs of this winter season.

Four hours of time on the slopes await skiers and snowboarders at the indoor ski center in Landgraaf, just across the border in the Netherlands. To facilitate sustainable travel, the HSZ is offering a shared shuttle bus to the ski center. For the trip there, the buses will be ready at Bendplatz between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The return trip on the shuttle buses will take place between 10:30 p.m. and midnight. There is also the option to make your own way to SnowWorld Landgraaf.

At this snow event, instructors trained by the HSZ will lead all ski and snowboard courses. Beginner courses are offered from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.; due to limited space, advance registration is required. For advanced winter sports enthusiasts, there are also workshops on technique, slalom, or in the fun park. No separate course registration is required for these.

The start of registration at the end of September was a huge success, and the beginner courses are already fully booked.
