Right To Play

The power of play changes everything! Right To Play is an international children’s aid organization. In the 14 poorest countries in the world, we support children in achieving holistic development, better education, and mental stability through highly effective play- and sports-based programs. We reach 4.7 million children worldwide and care for almost 60,000 children in 86 refugee camps.

Kai Havertz-Stiftung

The Kai Havertz Foundation, based in Aachen, is committed to equal opportunities for children and young people. Through projects in the areas of education, sports, and health, it creates new perspectives and promotes sustainable development. In addition, the foundation also supports projects and initiatives in the field of animal welfare.

Reittherapiezentrum Abenteuerland
Here, man and horse become a healing unit. Reiten im Abenteuerland is a recognized facility of the German Curatorship for Therapeutic Riding in Stolberg. It offers riding therapy for all ages and equestrian sports for people with disabilities.

Café Zuflucht from Refugio e.V.
The Café Zuflucht is committed to the human rights of refugees. In the advice center, refugees receive legal advice and further support.

Aachener Kältehelfer

Volunteers from Aachen, who work in the cold, take care of those in need of help, who are out on the streets of the city at night. This closes the gap to the assistance organizations that take care of homeless and people in need during the daytime.

Breakfast4Kids
Under the motto "For every child a packed breakfast!" Breakfast4Kids has set as its goal the daily provision of breaktime snacks to as many children as possible. Currently, the charity supports 32 schools in the städteregion Aachen as well as the Cologne area, supporting ca. 960 needy children, overall.

Right to Play

Aachener Engel e.V.
The Aachener Engel were founded in 2005 by Martin Lücker. Initially run as a personal initiative, the charity accompanies seriously ill Aachen residents on their hard journeys. Additionally, the angels look after those who have fallen ill, been abused or otherwise fallen into hardship and offer disadvantaged children the opportunity to partake in sport and enjoy access to free education.
